October 2017

Pastor Armando Jarmin, Jr. (“Jun”) received God’s call to be a watchman in the City of Los Alamitos. The assignment was to plant a church in this City. With much prayer and seeking the Lord’s leading.

May 2018

It started with two families doing Bible studies in the City of Buena Park. More families come as Pastor Jun continued casting God’s vision of the church plant.

December 2018

A resident of Los Alamitos opened their home for a Bible study. Soon enough the group was doing Bible studies on some business establishments in Los Alamitos.

June 2019

Hof’s Hut Restaurant Patio in Katella and Los Alamitos Blvd. in Los Alamitos became a venue for Bible studies and Marriage classes.

September 2019

Gather Church started the once-a-month Sunday Worship service at Little Cottonwood Park and Miss Priss Cupcake Store.

March 2020

The Lord favored Gather Church to hold it is Sunday Worship weekly services at Montecito Center, Los Alamitos.

September 19, 2021

Gather Church was officially launched in the City of Los Alamitos under the Assemblies of God Pentecostal Denomination.
